O brave new world? - Guild Wars Forums

This is quite possibly the silliest thing ive ever asked anyone ever. For the quest o brave new world you go outside and (according to both wiki's and a guildie) erff and the artisans are standing there waiting for you to speak to them. Yet when I run outside theyre not there.

Now is this a bug? or am i totally missing something? :S

You going out of the right portal? They should be by the res shrine.

Yeah i come out of vlox portal following the little star so i know its the right portal, and then theres nothing. Ive also tried abadoning and re-taking and just going outside alone. still nothing

Thats probably because when you arrive in Arbor Bay, you are standing on top of the star.

Hmm I have done the quest many times and I never saw anyone outside.
I never really read the whole quest though, I just follow the arrows and "stars". I do remember that they are at the end just before all the destroyers start coming. So no they are not just as you walk out but all the way closer to the end of the quest area.

so without knowing where to go, and i wont be using a map off wiki, im supposed to just go round running everywhere to find him?

I never had a problem when I did that quest, I say just go to the spots in accordance to wiki. They should show up in the 1st spot you go to as Erff says something there.

I have been doing this quest over and over the last 3 days farming Cores usually 3 to 6 a run without killing the boss rinse and repeat.
The very first time you take the quest he is just outside then he follows you the the green star placemarkers near the water etc
and says some things you then go off to top of the temple.
If you zone and come back without killing last boss and with the quest still active he will be at the top of the temple thingy with his green over his head ready to start the onslaught of the destroyers again after clicking him.
Hope this helps but if you can't see him at all at both places then something else is wrong.
